“The room was spacious and the on-site facilities are great. The location was also very convenient- only a few minutes from shops and restaurants and 15 minutes from the penguins. The major drawback was feeling pressured to participate in a 90 minute club presentation on arrival. I said was not interested and did not want to spend my precious holiday time at a presentation but this was rejected repeatedly. This was a poor way to start our stay. “Our stay at Flinders Motel was very comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms have a daily cleaning service and fresh towels are provided. There is a lovely cafe, directly opposite the motel rooms, and there are plenty of other restaurants, cafes, and takeaway food shops available. The main street has numerous shops, including the famous ‘Chocolate Shop’, where the hot chocolate, ice creams and chocolates are devine!”
