Cordes Lakes Vacations

We stayed here as a staycation. The room was clean. The phone didn't work. I had to use my cell phone to call the front desk. Someone came to switch out the phone, but it still didn't work. They are in the middle of renovating some of the hotel so it's good to see that they are making improvements. You can't bring anything into the water park except water. They will check your bag and confiscate anything extra. Even when the bar and restaurant closes, they'll still not slow you to bring things in. The pool area is very nice. One of the bathrooms was closed for renovations I believe. The other restaurants near the pool are also being renovated. When it's done, it will be great. There were some areas along the lazy river that need renovated. We saw several exposed wires.

The breakfasts and the late afternoon snacks were fantastic. This is the first time that the paid food was worse than the free food. At Ironwood, it was an hour and 20 minutes to get our food and the quality was sub-par. At Toro service was quicker but quality was lacking for our breakfast. The hotel, its celebration of the fourth, and maid service was fantastic. Room is nice and amazingly quiet. I might stay there again sometime.

Staff was excellent.

Finding out how/where to check in wasn’t straightforward but everything else was OK.

Short staff a bit and chairs by the pools need to be updated as they are stained and torn. Perhaps more umbrellas as the AZ SUN is hot
