Vacations Close To Altvater Cultural Complex

Great experience

Pool was green the whole week stay, so it was never clean to use. Staff was nice. There are no smoking signs on property, but as soon as the back door to the pool opened on the first night all you could smell was weed. Room was ok. Garbage disposal never worked.

The apartment was clean and modestly furnished. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water in the shower. Decent towels and bed linens but no kitchen towels. Pool towels are furnished with unit. There is a coin-operated laundry on site if you need to do laundry. The place was quiet and okay if you're looking for a budget rental for a weekend in Jensen Beach. This is an older apartment complex with short and long term rentals. The check in process was not good. Not sure why I had to fill out a separate registration form and supply a copy of my driver's license, a selfie and fill out my credit card information AFTER completing the Expedia booking. There was no privacy policy so I don't know what they are doing with my information or how they are storing it or protecting it. (If you spell "local" as "lowkl", then you probably don't know anything about cybersecurity and data breaches.) The day of my stay, I was still waiting to receive check in information. I contacted them while traveling and was told via email that the photo that I sent in with my registration form TWO WEEKS PRIOR wasn't good enough. No one bothered to tell me that when I sent in my form previously. I took the selfie as asked. Still no communication. At 4 pm, I called the office and was put on hold with really awful reverberating music until someone on speaker phone gave me the unit number and key code. Other than the bumps dealing with the property management office, our stay was okay.

Property in desperate need of refurbishment/renovation! Definitely not worth $220 rate for Saturday night stay. Hallways didn't seem to have any air conditioning......the furnishing in public places need to be replaced. Needs painting outside and inside. Very disappointing for a Marriot property!
