There is a Greggs and Subway which is very handy for food etc. also the garage station is a Londis which sells items as well. “We were made very welcome by John and hadall we needed for a very comfortable stay with our two dogs. There were lots of little touches that added to our good experience-including welcome bags for each dog and more than adequate continental breakfast. We would highly recommend a d stay again. “A lovely place to stay for a few days in beautiful countryside. The room was very clean and cosy and the restaurant was amazing, would definitely stay here again . All the staff were very efficient and friendly which made our stay even nicer .”

However, the Golden Fleece was very clean, good supply of refreshments in the room, shower was powerful and hot water plentiful. They even supplied a fan to cool the room, although it wasn't great, it shows a level of care and consideration for guests and was appreciated. The owners we met were friendly and I would definitely consider staying again if we visit the area again. Only negative is they need to remove the cobwebs...
