“We stayed just the one night. The staff were very friendly and eager to provide good service. We enjoyed a pleasant drink on the lovely patio overlooking the river followed by a tasty meal in the bar. Breakfast was excellent . Our room was fairly basic with quite a small ensuite . The WiFi was good. We were pleased with our stay which represented good value.”

Overall, I had a very pleasant stay, and if I return to Castle Douglas, I would happily stay here again.”

We had four evening meals in the dining room which were really good and the Cullen skink was excellent. Cally Palace was a great base for our four day...
