This hotel has so much history to it . The owners did a wonderful job of taking a distressed old hospital and turning into a unique hotel while leaving the hospital theme. Loved it!

We had the best stay! The hotel is absolutely lovely. The history, the decor, the staff, the rooms, the beds and the breakfasts were the best! The city shuttle picks up right out front. We are looking forward to staying again next year. Thank you so much for hosting us.

I honestly don't think 5 stars is enough for CCHH. The staff was excellent, from local restaurant recommendations and sights to see, and displaying outstanding hospitality all around. The entire place has been decorated with period antiques, there's comfortable areas to sit and relax, all while enjoying the view of the surrounding mountains. As I type this I'm enjoying watching mule deer wander by and some magpies flitting in the trees. This is truly a wonderful escape.
