I would suggest steering well clear of this property. The actual property is in a good location and is a nice little place to stay with a couple of bedrooms, a common lounge, kitchen, and bathroom. However, the check-in process was beyond diabolic. After I had booked, I was subsequently asked to pay an additional security deposit, and then asked to pay an additional amount of funds because they said they didn't have my reservation. They did finally give me access to the property but gave me the wrong code for the door. The property management company seems really disorganized, and it was incredibly stressful just trying to get a place to stay when I was visiting my dying mother. Just a bad experience overall.

I rarely write reviews, but the lack of communication from the property management company was beyond frustrating. I followed all instructions, attempted contact 72hrs prior, no response. Called and left multiple messages, no response. Access was supposed to be through an electronic lock - with the code being the last 4 of the phone number, didn’t work. Finally, after numerous calls and messages left, I was able to get a live person to help gain access. Four codes later- and access was granted. Not to mention, during this time frame, I was stung by multiple wasps nesting near the front door. Looking around, I saw a security camera- and felt like I was on an episode of punked!! Inside the home was clean, but several items of note were: missing lampshade in bedroom 2. Poor mattress quality in both bedrooms- with bedroom 1 having a mattress that was smaller than the foundation. All in all- the stay started off extremely rough… and never got over the initial impression.

Likes: cute house, nicely decorated, prompt response from Hoste when contacted. Meet our needs adequately and if it had been a comfortable temp when I arrived I probably would have been more content. Major Dislikes: House was 40 degrees when I arrived at 2pm. It took until after 12am to be comfortable. We had 2 preschoolers with us, not ideal. The house was comfortable once it reached a reasonable temperature. There were a number of repairs needed but I contacted Hoste with that list.
