“Fantastic hotel which has clearly had a lot of work done in recent times. I was greeted warmly by Ricky and checked in to Room 2, which was massive - and simply perfect for my (5 stone) greyhound, as he had space to move. The Royal Marine is one of 2 dog friendly hotels in the area, and as you can see, His Lordship was made ever so welcome and he slept like a log, as did I! I brought his own bed, however my bed was super comfy and cosy. There was a tv, a (clean!) kettle with tea & coffee and...

“Really enjoyed our stay at Tontine. Very well located for getting around Greenock and travelling to Glasgow and other surrounding towns. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere and rooms were clean and comfortable. There were quite a few parties over the weekend in the event room but we didn’t hear anything when we went back to our rooms. Nice and quiet. Would recommend. ”

“Had an overall great stay! Very clean and nice staff. The only thing that’s negative worth mentioning was that it took a very long time to get hot water in the shower and the tub. And after the hot water was running in the tub there was no way to get the cold water running. Except for this, a comfy bed and nice breakfast made this a nice stop along the way. ”
