While the room was clean and comfortable, the hallways were not. We were happy there was a bar/restaurant but the food and service were mediocre. To be fair, the serving staff was not adequate in number but the servers working were hustling and as attentive as possible. Kudos to the young woman at the front desk…extremely nice and helpful. I had a very positive stay at the InterContinental Suites Hotel Cleveland. Its location—just a short walk to the Cleveland Clinic—makes it incredibly convenient, especially for medical visits. The suites are spacious, the beds are very comfortable, and the shuttle service to and from the hospital is a big plus, particularly in cold weather. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Areas for improvement would include updating the rooms and bathrooms with more modern, upscale finishes and ensuring more thorough housekeeping. Overall, a comfortable and highly convenient place to stay.

The location is a short drive to Case Western and near hospitals. Self parking is a couple of long blocks away, which was inconvenient when it’s cold and rainy. Valet is $26. The property seems like it’s been updated but not exactly with the best quality furnishings - for example, the dresser appeared to be assembled furniture where the drawer was hard to open. The place wasn’t exactly not clean, there’s just visible dust from being vacant, we assumed. Only other odd thing was their hand soap, shampoo and body seems to be the same. We had a sink, coffee maker and fridge, none of which we used. The restaurant was 24/7 but we didn’t dine there. Staff at front desk and valet were friendly.
