“Such a friendly owner. Comfortable bed and top rated room with loads of interesting quirky things to look at. Breakfast was to order the night before at a time of your choice. Brought to your room and was of a good quality. Would stay there again. We were in the Birch room.”

“Very friendly owners, liked the history of the house.”

“So disappointed - avoid this establishment until something changes! We arrived just before 8pm and went straight to check in and have dinner in the restaurant, we were informed that the kitchen was busy and there would be a wait, which was fine, however 90mins later we still had no food and when it did come out it was lukewarm and three out of seven meals were missing something. “The Tiverton Hotel is located a short way in to the town off the A361, the North Devon Link Road and around a 10 minutes walk into the town centre so a good location. Plenty of parking. The room was a good size, clean, tidy and comfortable. I do feel the chair seat base cushions could do with a shampoo or was that just the wear on the material? The bathroom was clean and well stocked. Check in and out was quick and friendly. I would stay here again.”

“This is a magnificent place. All of the decorations are perfect and the staff are friendly and helpful. A great step back in time!!”

“Lovely old millhouse hotel. Clean, comfortable rooms. All of the staff were super friendly, really good quality fresh ingredients for breakfast, all for a fabulous price!”

“I understood there was no staff member on site so no complaints there. But we were not sent the check in code and had to make repeated calls to Expedia before this happened. The hotel is conveniently located and does have good parking. The rooms themselves are extremely basic. Not especially clean and with bare minimum of amenities i.e. only 2 pillows in a double room, very thin duvet and no heating so we were cold at night. On balance, I would not recommend or return here again.”

“Great place to stay, great breakfast, would definitely stay again.”

“Great location for the celebration we were attending. Lovely host really friendly. A fab stay”
