“Caro the host was lovely and friendly and very hospitable. The old Manor House is beautiful set in rolling countryside. The bedroom was large, beds were comfortable and good shower. Caro provides an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Would defo visit again. The Globe Inn nearby does good food and the staff and locals were good fun.”

“We came by rail. The choice of food was perfect. A smaller kettle would have been an advantage - to fit better under the tap. Also a larger coffee pot, so that it contained a 'top up'. One of the best hotels we have stayed at. Thankyou.”

Not something I am very used to staying in lots of hotels for work. The farmhouse is as picturesque as it looks in the photos. Local recommendations for activities and food. The breakfast was amazing, lots of options and cooked to order. I will definitely be back next time we are in the area. I will also prioritise...

“Booked as got stuck on the A303, nice staff, great breakfast and hard to argue with the price. My only minor criticism is being 6’3 the light they’d fitted to the single room was basically at face height so I cracked my head a couple of times getting in and out of bed. Otherwise would recommend for a cheap stay.”
