Bad smell

Room was very clean and comfortable but the hotel is very old looking

We stayed the night before our cruise at Belltown Inn. Every staff/team member we encountered was SUPER friendly and helpful. While Pier 66 is within walking distance, I was able to reserve a car for $10 per person for a shuttle to the Pier, through the hotel. The car service was prompt and very courteous, too. There are several restaurants within close proximity as well.

I was checking in at 3:50 for a 4 pm arrival. No room available for 50:00 minutes. The staff was very disengaged and very poor at communicating. I had to show ID 2 times and verify three times. Communication was extremely poor. Coffee was out in the morning.

Everything was perfect

It’s a lovely property however the quality of bed linens and mattress were not worthy of a 5 star hotel. The sheets felt like a stiff synthetic material and there were lumps on the mattress. Dinner at Shuckers was expensive but delicious with great service. Subtracted a star for the bed linens and mattress, needs improvement.
