We had a great overnight stay. The room was as described—comfortable and clean, with a really comfy bed that gave us a great night’s sleep. Excellent central location, very friendly and helpful staff, and a fantastic breakfast to start the day. Would happily stay again!

Great little pub and fantastic location

Great stay at the Holden Eagle. Was close to everything and free parking. Breakfast was an added bonus. Lovely place to stay - would return.

We really liked it at the Golden Eagle. Room was quirky and very clean. Bed was super comfortable. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was amazing!

Loved the Golden Eagle

Lovely place to stay. Loved the record player in our room, good beer in the bar, friendly and obliging staff, and great continental breakfast. This is our second stay here and we hope to visit again.

Few days away in Chester. The staff were welcoming and friendly, it is a pub so expect some noise. The rooms were clean and had everything needed for a short stay. Great location for all amenities, shops , bars and local history.

We had a great stay at The Golden Eagle! The pub and room were lovely, and the staff was very friendly. It’s well located to walk to the town centre, and the English breakfast was fantastic. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer than one night!

Had a fabulous 2 night stay there for a friend’s birthday. The staff were friendly and helpful and excellent value for money. The room was very quaint and comfortable and the price included a fabulous cooked breakfast. Only minutes walk from town so perfect for exploring Chester. Overall a little gem.

The Golden Eagle, Chester

WE had a brilliant short stay in Chester. We visited Liverpool by train and Nantwich by bus. The city centre and plenty of restaurants were all within a few minutes walk. The Golden Eagle was first class. The owner and staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. We are already thinking of another stay with them.

Great place to stay!

Great location in the city centre. We stayed on a Saturday night and it was quiet, with the pub being up a little side street. Quaint room, comfy bed and very cosy. We chose the Continental breakfast and it was excellent. Would highly recommend staying here.
