Excellent room -was clean and fresh with all relevant amenities provided.i.e., tea/coffee, iron etc. Food was very good at a good price whilst breakfast was fantastic with something for everyone in addition to none rationed. Lovely hotel, warm staff and warm cookies on arrival. We had a Superior room which was clean, comfortable and spacious. Gardens were lovely and well kept. Breakfast was delicious and there was a huge choice available. A thoroughly enjoyable stay !

I had a lovely stay. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and all of the amenities were excellent. But there were a lot of hidden fees I didn’t know bait beforehand which was an unpleasant surprise.

The hotel and grounds look beautiful and it’s perfectly located for many things to do in Chester. The room was very clean and equipped with everything you might need. We found the mattress quite hard but that’s maybe our personal preference. The shower wasn’t over powerful either but nothing to complain about. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options and staff were attentive. We would stay again.

Hotel was stunning both inside and outside and the staff were really friendly and polite nothing was too much trouble. Bed was really comfy and breakfast was excellent would come back to stay next time we are in Chester. Great location 5 minutes from motorway and only a few minutes from city centre and the zoo which is why we visited

Property was convenient for town, quick taxi ride £10 approx. Lovely clean hotel with very helpful staff. Room was cleaned well although face flannels forgot to replace. Also tea, sugar milk, forgot to replace but reception was able to supply for us after going back downstairs to find replacement. Overall lovely clean friendly hotel, conveniently situated for Chester and the Chester Zoo.

Absolutely stunning hotel - couple of niggles

Absolutely stunning hotel with lovely surroundings. Room were fresh comfortable and bathroom clean. The one downside. Very very noisy during the night there was a function on and we had to get sleep to get up early next morning. The noise kept us up most of the night. The next morning the smell of weed around our room area was very strong. Loved this hotel apart from that.

This was the perfect location for us to stay to be able to visit Cheshire Oaks, Chester Zoo and Chester, just 10mins drive from each. I avoided hotels in Chester due to lack of easy parking options but this one was great. Really nice rooms, clean and modern with lots of amenities. Breakfast was good, plenty of hot and continental choices. We loved the warm cookie at check in too - a nice touch! Staff were all very nice and friendly.
