The staff were wonderful, and went above and beyond to correct an issue from booking a twin room, which wasn't suitable for 3 travellers. The swimming pool and breakfast were very nice, and soon accommodated my dietary restrictions. Thank you ! Was particularly amazed by the hotel manager, who really did everything he could to help make our stay comfortable.

The hotel is made out to be luxurious but when you get there you realise how run down it is the owner isn’t looking after the true beauty of the building.The windows in the bedrooms are shocking with poor locks and old frame works.The room had cobwebs and dead spiders hanging from the edges of the coving. The bedroom wall paper old and worn and splash marks on the wall at the top of the bed.The house keeper wouldn’t take the cups and used glasses the work surfaces on cabinets and side board tables sticky and never cleaned.The mattress was stained and the clean towels in the bathroom would constantly smell of grease or food .The dining room chairs on the tables appeared soiled with food and drink and the windows and blinds stinking with dust and grime.The cleaner was never seen hoovering up the carpets in the living room area and there would always be food crumbs on the floor in the dining room and leaves were blown in from outside into the lounge and always left.The general condition of this hotel needs a lot to be desired on the price being asked it’s all very well having a swimming pool but the main hotel needs a refurb and the owner some guidance.

We stayed two nights. The room was perfect, with a seperate room for the kids meaning we all got some peace! All of the staff were lovely and friendly, saying hi to the kids and asking if we needed anything. They even got me a coffee when we'd officially checked out but the children were using the pool. The facillities are good, if in need of a bit of tlc. At the pool there was plenty of space and hair dryers for everyone, however you can't seal the lockers. We'd definitely book here again, plenty to keep the kods entertained when raining and a perfect hub to visit Beeston Castle, Chester centre, the zoo and there's a pub with a playground a short wall away.

A nice hotel with friendly staff. A restaurant and bar, a grassed garden area and a large parking area. Rooms Comfortable, with a shower and bath. Minor maintenance issues in our room with loose toilet seat, curtain off of rail and dirty carpets that need sorting.

Just got home from a 3 night stay staying at the Mollington Chester , we had a lovely stay , the family room was dated but was clean and very spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpfull, bar area was lovely and we used the pool once , which was lovely , would definitely stay again if we visit the area again

Excellent hotel in a very nice setting, location is very quiet and peaceful for a nice break. The hotel has a nice size pool with jacuzzi hot tub and sauna which is definitely a luxury. Good selections for breakfast and dinner including room service if you prefer, but overall I have to say the staff are excellent - my partner and I have stayed here before and the staff are extremely polite and personable which adds to the charm of the hotel!

The staff were lovely. the room was ok, was offered a family room with seperate bedroom which was great for the kids, aswell as a lovely surprise of a large selection box on their beds for christmas. (I didnt get one though :( ) Suggestions: I would suggest maybe a small fridge in the rooms. The changing rooms in the Pool area were freezing. Maybe a continental choice for breakfast as there was only fried or cereal, no ham/cheese/croissants etc and for a high end hotel it was rather poor for breakfast. The lights on the road and signage was not very clear, maybe a large, lit sign as late at night on a country road it was very hard to see the entrance. The Overall experience was good though over Christmas.

We all enjoyed our stay , staff very attentive, food was nice, family room was excellent , pool was great for all concerned. I would book this hotel again, I would have to say it does need tidying up and if money was spent on it then this would enhance the hotel.
