Cherré-Au Vacations

Nice new self-contained apartment close to the train station and downtown Angers. It would have been perfect except we sweltered each night through a boiling hot week of summer. Why they don’t have air conditioning in a new apartment building (except for the lobby) is a mystery and a huge let down considering how things are going with climate change. I didn’t check carefully enough when booking and would have stayed elsewhere, given that I knew it was likely to be hot in July.

Perfect stopover for one night. Stunning view and a lovely pool area. Friendly staff and great breakfast. They are able to cater knowledgeably for gluten free which is rare in our experience in France! Highly recommended.

Very friendly staff and room very clean. Lovely setting with each room having its own terrace. Dog friendly and there is a great public open space on the other side of the road where dogs can be exercised. Unfortunately we could not use the restaurant because a wedding party was using it. However good restaurants nearby and good room service meant this did not detract too much.
