The staff were kind but the hotel smells like hospital.the coffe maker did not work. The door of restroom locked once i was there

It has been a few years since we visited The Brown Hotel. Upon arrival, we found the valet staff very unwelcoming. The receptionist was also rude and unfriendly. Our room overall was dated and very worn. Carpets ripped, bathroom wallpaper coming off, crumbs on the floor, and hair was in the bedding. Will not stay there again. For the cost we were expecting a premium property. It was a major disappointment. Do not recommend.
