“The only thing going for this place was the central location, near to historic sites and restaurants. The faults were many. It was advertised as a B&B, but breakfasts had ceased in June of this year. the room was shabby and claustrophobic. dust and grime were apparent throughout. the shower room was cramped and mould was apparent. “Great place just on the beach in a peaceful area”

“The Haven is a great B&B in Rothbury, ideal for a base to see Northumbria, Holy Island, Bamburgh Castle, Alnwick and the whole of the NE. The B&B has outstanding breakfasts, large rooms with suite like rooms with a sofa area, tv and large bathrooms! Great find! Rothbury is a great little large village/small town with ample restaurants, bars and pubs, shops and cafe’s! Nothing is too much for the owner and staff in the B&B and we will definitely be back soon!”
