“Couldn’t recommend The Tenpus at Charlton Hall more! We stayed in one of the lakeside lodges and had such a lovely relaxing time. We had planned to eat at the Lobster Pot in Bamburgh but lucky for us they were a chef down and couldn’t accommodate us so we ate in the Tempus restaurant which was outstanding. I didn’t catch our servers name but he was so friendly and made us very welcome. Food was delicious. Can’t wait to book again… absolutely loved everything about our visit.”

“This is an amazing place to stay. Very comfortable, clean and homely. Beds were comfy and the garden area was great espiecally in the warm weather. We went with 4 adults and there was plenty of space to sit and relax when we were in the house. Great off road parking. The kitchen had everything you need to cook if you want to and there is a bbq outside. There are eating and drinking establishments nearby which are very good and within a 5 minute walk. “In a perfect location for our exploration of Northumberland.The room we had was excellent. Although situated on the busy A1 the room was very quiet as it was at the back of the building.We couldn’t hear any traffic noise at all. The staff were absolutely fantastic.Really friendly and very helpful. The restaurant was excellent and it was also good to be able to pick up sandwiches and snacks from the attached coffee shop for days when we were out exploring. We will definitely stay here again.”
