Vacations Close To The Oncenter

Good points about the stay: the breakfast was good, the hot tub was operating, the price was reasonable, and the location was good. Not such good points: the floors in the room were filthy. We asked multiple times to have someone bring up a mop and eventually had to clean the floors ourselves. The room was not cleaned between nights. It was not communicated that if we wanted our rooms turned over we had to put in a request the previous night. We noticed garbage on the floor of the elevator that was there from the first night to the morning after the second night so it had not been cleaned. The pool area was so over chlorinated that after a couple of minutes our eyes were burning and we had to leave. The air conditioning/heater in the room was so loud that it kept us awake much of the night.

The photos on line were not consistent to the reality of the hotel. The room was tiny and looked like something out of the 1970s. I usually stay at Del Lago Resort when I'm traveling from Detroit to Connecticut about three times a year but it was sold out.

Suite was comfortable and clean. The older woman at Breakfast is just about the sweetest woman on earth, and very accommodating. Good stay for a great price.

Comfortable, friendly, well-maintained, gracious old hotel. But rooms do not have refrigerators, microwaves, or coffee machines. The entire hotel does have wi-fi. Our rate included breakfast. If you want to relax and enjoy an old way of living, this is an excellent place.

Terrible awful not good bad
