Vacations Close To Montreal Convention Centre

I was able to find parking spot in UQAM parking garage , no problem. Conveniently located close to hotel.

Inhospitable hospitality. I made a booking error for this hotel. I accidentally booked the wrong date (Aug 5-6) through Expedia on Aug 2. On Aug 4 at 7:00 am (7 hr past the cancellation window) I received info about my upcoming stay and realized my $400 mistake. Narrowly out of the cancellation period, I hoped they would have some grace. Expedia did try to resolve my concern but the hotel would not budge. I called the hotel myself and they shared they would need to request a reservation change through their revenue department in Spain and it would take a while. They would email me back. It is August 7 and without having heard anything, I called back again to learn the department declined the request. No decency to follow up. No concern over their patron’s needs or worries. I understand I am at fault for the booking error, however recognizing 1) I was still happy to book the correct dates at the hotel (no business lost) 2) the hotel was not full, so for those two days the reservation was made, I was not taking away from another patron 3) people make mistakes, and this one was just 7 hr after their acceptable refundable period 4) in the hospitality industry, people should receive that. The attendants on the phone seemed not very interested in this circumstance. I will steer clear of any Eurostar establishment as I cannot trust they have the best interests of their patrons at heart.

Excellent location close to shops, restaurants, and markets. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. The only drawback is that the hotel doesn’t have its own parking, so you have to use valet parking. Other than that, it was a great stay, and I would happily stay here again.

Have been staying here for years. Always near perfect on all counts. Wonderful staff, beautiful rooms and common areas. An amazing location with views onto the square. My recommendation for any family or friends traveling to Montreal.
