Excellent overall

Our stay was disappointing. The room needs updating, and the shower was not working properly. The hotel also needs better overall maintenance. Several areas were visibly dirty and could benefit from a thorough cleaning and pressure washing. There was also a wedding during our stay, and the wedding guests took over the entire lobby while waiting for the ceremony to begin. The wedding area was along the route to the pool, making access uncomfortable. Hotel staff were not helping other hotel guests navigate the area, so we felt like we were interrupting the event just by trying to walk through. We ended up leaving the hotel and only returning to sleep because we did not feel comfortable enjoying the facilities. Better maintenance and planning for private events would make a significant difference in the guest experience.

Direct TV was not working

This place has EVERYTHING you need to enjoy a week in Puerto Rico. The kitchenette is stocked with everything from quality knives to a garlic press. They have beach chairs, umbrella and a cooler for guest to use. We were able to save so much money on outside expenses because The Beach Pad provided so much. It was truly a wonderful experience and we will be coming back to try the PH suite!
