“Warm welcome from staff at reception. Room was clean and comfortable although a little dated. No air conditioning, had to leave windows open which then creates problems with outside noise. Bathroom spacious but also very dated. Shower in bath not ideal, no extractor fan. “Everything about the hotel and staff was perfect. The only thing that we had issue with was the parking arrangements. Our Expedia booking included free parking, but apparently parking is only guaranteed when booking directly with the hotel. Expedia were not transparent about this. Hence, on the first night, we had to park on the street and pay £14.40 for five hours...waiting for an allocated hotel parking space on a first-come, first-served basis to become available.”
