“Very friendly staff both at front desk and in the restaurant for breakfast. But rooms don’t have A/C and with the heat wave it was surely missed!”

“Está un poco alejada del Centro. Para ser un Bed and Breakfast, tiene muchas pretensiones. Se me hizo caro, el único desayuno que ofrecen es Continental y está en tres casas victorianas separadas entre si. Poco práctica. Oxford es caro, pero aún así me pareció desproporcionada la tarifa.”

“Room was dirty, scuffed paintwork, stained carpet, skirting boards thick with grime and dust, cobwebs and dead bugs (in the cobwebs) on the ceiling. Not to mention the previous guests dirty towels and sheets were left in a heap in the middle of the floor. At £200 per night excluding breakfast I expect much much better. Very disappointing.”

“Room was really clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. It made such lovely change to have a cooked breakfast brought to you instead of luke warm self service. Bar prices very reasonable. Restaurant food was great and reasonable prices.”

“Horwood house Hotel, located right in the country, but a breath of fresh air - literally. A stone's throw from Milton Keynes and for me, excellent to stay in whilst on business. Definitely recommend, in fact I'll be doing that to a number of my business colleagues.”
