“The floor in the bedroom was wet damp coming from somewhere. There was a musty smell. The outside space was filthy the floor was black in places and there was moss on the floor. The table and chairs were rusty. Old plant pots scattered about. The area was smaller than it looked in the photo. We couldn’t sit outside. We should of taken a picture but unfortunately we didn’t.”

“Just an all round relaxing comfortable stay. The only slight negative which is not the hotels fault is that it seems that some guests, once they have their room, have little regard for others that are staying i.e.coming in late (fair enough) being loud, banging about and slamming doors (not so)”

“Really excellent hotel and well-located in the middle of Lyme Regis. Unfortunately because of the heat the pool wasn't open, but that didn't matter because the sea was clean and great to swim in. The breakfasts were excellent, and staff very friendly. Highly recommend.”

“We were greeted with a handshake which is always a good start. Our hosts, Neil and Rosemarie were welcoming and eager to make sure our stay was a good one. Our room was spacious as was the bathroom and shower. We were pleased with the coffee machine and the fridge on the landing for the cold milk. “All excellent as expected. Wonderful staff, excellent food you were really treated like an important diner. Room was great (shower a little small) huge bath though. You must book if you want parking. Pity cars and vans park outside spoils sea view from patio and restaurant.”

“I called a few days ahead of our stay to let them Know that my daughter was celebrating her 16th birthday on that day and if they could do anything special for this. They said they couldn’t as they only provide champagne for adults and they are very busy so won’t have time. I suggested maybe a small card and a few chocolates just as a welcome gesture. He sighed and seemed annoyed I had pushed the point. When we arrived I noticed the carpets in bedrooms were very obviously stained and worn out....

“A great breakfast, the room we had was next door to the two water heaters, making the room very hot indeed other than that a good stay and staff were very attentive, will definitely go again but not in the same room, breakfast was excellent as was the evening meal parking is good also with no extra charges.”
