“Easy parking”

“We paid a premium price for a very standard room. Double bed with hard pillows. Very dated in the decor and furnishings. I was disappointed with the whole experience. Set menu for the evening was very pricy and was underwhelming. Breakfast was what saved the day, nice ingredients, great selection. Staff were friendly.”

“The staff, especially Reception and a young blonde-haired lady who had only been there about 3 weeks were exceptional. Having the bar & the restaurant on the top floor is a bit odd, but it is comfortable. The food in the restaurant was very poor as was the quality of the wine. “We really loved the hotel. However, our sleep was disturbed because of the heavy traffic. If I had known I would have requested a room at the back. The hotel was not full so I cannot understand why they did not put us at the back of the hotel. It was our anniversary so my wife's lack of sleep was not good. The breakfast was excellent.
