Vacations Close To Cape Hatteras National Seashore

Hotel was good and staff were nice. Nothing to special about the hotel. Hot top wasn’t hot enough it was basically room temperature. Good hotel overall

Excellent location on the oceanfront boardwalk. Love the ocean view balcony. We had a few issues with furniture and accessories that did not work but the front desk staff was wonderful! They couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Kudos to Angie especially.

The view and deck were amazing! Honestly, this was why I chose this hotel. The staff were very friendly and made me feel welcomed. Having the door locked after 9 PM made me feel safer. However, the hotel was a little rundown. The carpet should be replaced with a hard surface, and the shower, including the loud fan, could use some attention. The bed was noisy due to the weak platform that rattled when you moved.

The first room I was given had water and mold on the ceiling. The second room was clean but missing tile in the bathroom and the balcony was rusty and moldy so could not go out. The staff were all polite and accommodating. The hotel has only been partially renovated and unless you get a renovated room, the rooms are older, and while “clean” the are minimally maintained.

Location is perfect for that area.
