Even more charming than I imagined, and I’ve driven past this hotel for years. The gentleman who runs it was incredibly kind, the room darling, the decor and details storybook like and breakfast one of the best continental you’ll find, making it a perfect spot to stay while I waited for my ferry the next day. I’m staying again this coming week. It is by far the best hotel in the area.

The Glen Cove was a fantastic stopover on my way home from Acadia. I stayed in unit 1 and enjoyed a lovely pond view. I was able to open windows for fresh air, which I love. The room was large, updated and very clean. It felt so homey! The staff was so nice. Though the property is right off Route 1, I felt like I was miles away from it. Location is very convenient to Camden and Rockland. I will definitely recommend the Glen Cove to my Maine visitors and stay here again myself.

The rooms were very tidy and clean, the major issue we had was the light coming in through the door, it’s hard to sleep when it’s so light in the bedrooms. The room has such a beautiful light blocking curtain for the siding glass door to a cute little balcony, but they didn’t invest in something to fully block the light on the door or have a curtain to cover the blinds on the window. So bring a sleep mask!
