Definitely eat dinner at the Inn on Pamlico sound. It is the best dinner in the area. The best place to eat lunch, we heard of by word of mouth, and we agree, is Buxton Munch. We’ve eaten there twice now, and everything was good.
Buxton is where I spent most of my summers growing up. It has changed a lot through the years but my experiences with the people never have changed. They are awesome. Love it here.
Check the roads before you go. Make sure there's not a storm. We drove in terrible conditions. Don't mess with mother nature.
Beautiful outer banks town. Even after a recent hurricane everyone was open and friendly. Great place to go relax and support locally owned businesses. However, if you are looking for Starbucks and McDonalds you won’t find them here
