“Food was ok Lighting in room awful, struggled to apply make up room was a bit neglected woodwork cracked and un kept . Location was good Also breakfast was expensive didn’t realise it was cheaper if paid on line”

“Great location near public transport. Friendly/helpful staff. My only problem was the bath was quite deep and hard to get in/out of for showering; an age thing but something that others need to be aware of. Other than that niggle, would not hesitate to return.”

“Quite run down, bathroom had mould and when you stood in the shower then bottom of the bath flexed so you thought it was going to give way. Food in the restaurant isn't great, it's ok if you really don't want to go out but there are some lovely much better places within walking distance which are also significantly cheaper, the prices in the hotel are, in my view, excessive. Generally the staff were lovely but that isn't enough to entice us back unfortunately. It needs some serious TLC and if it...
