“Lovely hotel / pub in a very scenic location. Beautiful views. We had 2 cottages for our extended family group of 7 adults/ 4 children.
Spent the afternoon enjoying the patio drinks and watching the water flow. Had a delicious Sunday dinner in the lovely upper dining room.
Beds were comfortable and had everything we needed . Would definitely stay again .”

“From the minute we stepped inside we were welcomed by friendly helpful staff. The rooms were clean and roomy. The food was excellent and the dining room service was excellent…..evening meal and breakfast. The views were incredible, the location was beautiful. Would definitely stay again and would definite, recommend, 100%.”

“My husband and I stayed two nights in June while exploring the Yorkshire Dales. The location is excellent, in a quintessential Dales village, with a number of fun shops and eateries. The room was simply furnished but perfectly adequate. Be aware there are a number of steps, and the tub/shower is deep to step into, so not a good choice if you have accessibility issues.”

“Excellent stay. Lovely warm welcome. Everywhere clean and and well equipped. The breakfast is cooked to order. So tasty, excellent choice and very filling.
All the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Shops and restaurants, coffee shops and gift shops 2 minutes walk away.
Free parking at the hotel.”

They both really enjoyed stay and could not say enough about quality of staffing and overall experience!”

“Booked for a wedding but on the morning of the wedding there was no hot water to get a shave or shower but what made it worse was that there was no communication from the staff and no apology offered or compensation from management”
