“The hotel is incredible and the staff to match. Food is good quality although service can be poor at times. Certainly recommend staying, as this hotel is very relaxed with pets (dogs) allowed to stay.”

“We were initially given a tiny room on the top floor with no viewout , which was not what we paid for ,Toilet not clean . We were then offered a better room , lovely view out but on closer inspection the curtain linings were ripped , headboard filthy , Mark on the bedsheets and an unwashed bathtowel plus the bathroom Very noisy plumbing and no HOT water so had a cold shower . No complaints about the staff or Food but the general cleanliness of the lounge furniture and the sticky tables ...

“The hotel was further from Lyndhurst than I expected and although that wasn't an issue, it was further than I anticipated. This for us was the only downside to the stay. The room was cosy and comfortable and somewhat quirky. We loved its uniqueness. The hotel restaurant was lovely and we enjoyed our dinner there on our overnight stay. We would definitely stay again as it was convenient for a stop over before embarking on a cruise the following day from Southampton.”
