“Staff were friendly however the room wasn’t ready for a number of hours after check in and loud music until after midnight. The sheets also had hairs on them.”

“Food was great, staff very helpful, bar and dining room very tidy and clean, good range of drinks, both alcoholic and soft although I am out of touch with prices so had a bit of a shock. This is not a negative, just reality. Plenty of parking and convenient at the rear to avoid stairs. Some areas are in need of decorating such as stairwell and corridors however not terrible. “What a beautiful day this was. The views from the Inn are stunning. I was welcomed by Kevin (the owner) on arrival. I enjoyed a fabulous home-cooked styled curry for dinner (a must have if you are there for curry night). The rooms are clean and nicely set up. Both Kevin and Suzanne are superb hosts. Looking for a great place to stay this is it. I look forward to my return.”

“The hotel needs air conditioning in all bedrooms as the rooms were too hot. There were no fridges in the bedrooms to keep water cold etc which was disappointing as we had to ask for glasses of ice to do this. Staff were exceptional and the spa and swimming pool were really good. A great location on the edge of Dartmoor with access to some great walks.”

“Very poor 'welcome' from the receptionist. She seemed miserable and dis-interested. She also could not find our pre-booked details initially and then when she did, tried to charge us an additional £75 even though we had paid in full. On the plus side, the room was very good. Very clean, comfortable bed and a good shower. Only two teabags on the tray, which was either an oversight or just a bit mean.”

The only thing I was disappointed with was the price of parking £15 a day was very steep especially being a quest at the hotel and having a disabled husband not being able to take advantage of free disability parking for our entire stay with on...

“Parking was easy and safe. Location of the property was perfect both for accessing Dartmoor and wildlife spotting (lots of unusual birds in the grounds). Staying at Two Bridges was a treat; it is a unique hotel and has an amazing history”

“What can I say obviously the rooms was not cleaned properly even though when we questioned about the cleaning they said it had been cleaned,, the bed was full of hair thats correct hair ,, we got moved to another room and similar but not as much its could ha e possibly een pet hair as this is a pet friendly hotel just put is off it all together so I recommend anyone in future thoroughly check the bed,, terrible design shower room water goes literally everywhere soaking whole room as the shower...

“A mixed review from me. Parking was £10 a night. Windows were filthy.Swimming pool was closed. Most draught beers were out of stock.The over bath shower had a curtain. No biscuits, only 6 milk sachets and curtain rail not connected at one end. The bed was comfortable with clean sheets. So disappointed overall for a claimed 4star hotel.”
