But when we went to the area, we were told that children are not allowed. This crucial restriction, which should be clearly stated at the time of booking, completely undermined the purpose of our stay. The rooms are basic and dated.

“Great breakfast”

“The room was very hot on arrival and one of the two was completely painted closed - and the fan provided merely pushed hot air around the room. And the flashing light on the sprinkler system was extremely bright and not conducive to sleeping. On the plus side breakfast was good.”

“Lovely room, great breakfast and friendly, helpful owners.”

“Everything was amazing. Oliver was beyond helpful and kind!”

“Vanessa and Steve were exceptional hosts and the facilities at “The Foxes Den” suited us perfectly. Everything was most satisfactory and we ended our stay with a delicious full English breakfast which kept us going for quite a while!!! We would recommend a stay there to everyone visiting the area for a peaceful and very comfortable night.”

“This is a fantastic hotel that I would recommend to all.”
