“Very friendly establishment. Great service and good dinner menu and breakfast. The cottage could of done with a deep clean as there was loads of spiders and cobwebs. Would definitely stay there again but maybe in the pub next time ”

“A five star property and staff — some of the best food we’ve ever had traveling, and here it is in the Yorkshire Dales! Friendly, helpful staff to a person, every shift, every position. The historic manor house buildings are beautiful, tastefully updated to allow a glass-walled dining wing that looks out over the rolling green hills. It’s a stunning setting. The bedroom is the only shortcoming. Peer facilities might offer visitors pillows of various stiffness to accommodate different sleepers’...

“We booked a room at The Fox Hall at the very last minute, as we are attending a wedding nearby the next day. It was really just for convenience and we weren't that bothered about exactly where we stayed. That said, what an absolute gem The Fox Hall is! From a very friendly greeting, a delightful room and an excellent supper, we feel very lucky to have stumbled across it and we're planning to return (intentionally!) soon! ”
