“A great place to take a break along the way, enjoy the restaurant and its great staff, and really close to the city of Oxford.”

“👌”

“Historic building, very well located. The room was cozy and with a beautifull view to the river”

“I will never stay in this hotel again. Although inexpensive by Oxford hotel prices, you get what you pay for and it is not worth it. I asked for the quietest room - hahaha. The surrounding nightclubs and the bar below are full on until after 1am! And there is no sound proofing between rooms and I had noisy neighbours too! As you enter the hotel, the carpet on the stairs is filthy and the corridor smells. The room itself was clean enough but no side table and poor quality mattress and pillows. So...

“Room was lovely and spacious. Only downside was the bed was uncomfortable , the mattress was quite hard and the pillows were way too soft to have a good sleep . Location was great to get to the farmers dog (10 mins in a taxi)”

“Extremely disappointing stay and nowhere near the standard expected for a superior room. We had booked a twin room but were initially given a double. When we were eventually moved to the twin room we had actually booked, the condition of it was unacceptable. The coffee machine still contained water and used pods from the previous...

“Lugar cómodo, paisaje precioso”

“Lovely area , lovely property, lovely people just a shame the place wasn’t clean ,”

“The Railway Inn is a small hotel, over a pub that closes reasonably early and literally next to the train lines. The barkeep is also the hotel staff and the breakfast cook. She is terrific and lively. My room was on the second floor - spacious with two excellent twin beds, comfortable bedding and kettle, cookies, etc. They would like entry by 22.00 which I did not see in the ad, so I arrived later and she directed me to reach my room, which she had left open. The breakfast is cooked to order...

“Very quaint pub in a quiet village - but full of life and character, obviously popular with locals and visitors alike. The staff were super friendly. Food was great. Our room was unique and full of old pub charm including sloping floors, but it was super clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom was well appointed.”
