“Quaint property with rooms in the main building and in an outer building across a patio with table seating where we had a quiet, well-equipped, modern room. The Inn is a short walk to a scenic marsh and pond with fish/eel traps and a bench for savoring the peaceful view. The town of Stockbridge, about a mile away, is wonderful for window shopping (and purchasing!) and is the start of a beautiful picturesque 'marsh walk' through grazing cows and lovely pastures. “The room was clean and nicely decorated. The sofa bed needs a new mattress as you can feel the springs digging in when you lay on the bed. Staff were friendly and helpful although there was a mix up over the cost of breakfast for children as we were told, ahead of our stay, that under 12’s were half price but aren’t. The bathroom could be revamped to give more space whilst standing in the bath showering - it’s far too small plus having a broken shower bracket resulted in water spraying...

“Perfect location for local pubs, cafes and restaurants. Stockbridge generally and the 3 cups in particular have a relaxed vibe. Staff at 3 cups very friendly. Very good breakfast and restaurant….simple food but well done. The garden in summer is very tranquil”
