Location-wise it is well situated for access to the surrounding towns, particularly Hereford, though one should note that it sits right on the main road and this does lead to quite some road noise until late at night and from early in the morning.

“Lovely hotel in a location with a great view over the river and the Wye Valley. Room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were great - helpful, friendly and efficient. The food was good both at dinner and breakfast with a wide choice of options.

“Our room was beamed and the superking sized bed was comfortable. There was a very thick duvet - a bit too hot for the weather - but an excellent fan was already in the room.
Evening meal was good and a nice atmosphere in the bar and dining area. The waiter Connor was very attentive. Gluten free options are available but double check when ordering just to be sure!! Breakfast was self serve in a rustic kitchen . No GF options .
All in all , a good one night stopover and a good price. Would go ...
