Vacations Close To Boka Tabla

I really enjoyed celebrating my birthday in Curaçao at The Drift! Mishiani & her team took care of me! I felt special, It was very quaint, easy to walk around and just a wonderful experience!!! I would definitely go back again!

The location was nice, and quiet. Great accessibility to the water. The private beach was excellent. The restaurant staff, food, and live entertainment were excellent. The beds were very comfortable.

Very outdated . Rooms are outdated . Have to open blinds to get light . Showers have mold in in grout . Room service at times wouldn’t show up at all . No entertainment at this location. Best to leave to leave the resort

I really enjoyed my stay at Kura Botanica, can't say anything negative at all. A minor issue was the breakfast which was served in another hotel a few blocks away, but the breakfast itself was great and the short walk was not really an issue. It is located within the "Kura Hulanda" village that has a variety of restaurants and shops and a Museum. It is in the OTRABANDA neiborhood of Willemstad. We wanted to stay "in town" since we like to explore and are not really beach people. The only thing about Curacao is that transportation is expensive and a taxi for even a short distance can set you back $20 -30-40 each way.

This was the worst all-inclusive resort experience we have ever had. Our Sun Club room was unacceptable upon arrival: hair and urine stains in the bathroom, dirty countertops and furniture, nail clippings, a dusty headboard, stained lamps, a dirty mini-fridge and ice bucket, used coffee cups, garbage under the bed, mold in the bathroom, and AC/water damage. We reported these issues and were promised a deep cleaning, but several problems remained. We ultimately sanitized the room ourselves. Housekeeping continued to be inconsistent, with missing towels and an unstocked mini-fridge. Throughout the resort, trash and dirty dishes were left unattended. Food frequently ran out, quality was poor, and we observed concerning food-handling practices. Bars repeatedly ran out of cups, and we witnessed used cups being handled between customers without handwashing. Maintenance was extremely poor. The pool appeared dirty, landscaping was neglected, and broken fixtures were exposed. Our toilet rocked, the sink was loose, the shower temperature fluctuated dangerously, the bathroom flooded, the balcony door frame was pulling away from the wall, and rain repeatedly flooded our room. We also experienced an AC outage followed by loss of lights and outlets. Our family had five rooms, and two required relocation due to a severe sewer odor in Building 2. We were told a damaged sewer pipe was allowing sewer gases into the rooms. Do not recommend.
