“We were given a warm welcome on arrival; always found a space to park in the car park; loved the location (right next to the river). No complaints about the room, bed or en suite, with all being clean, comfortable etc. Great breakfasts provided if required. All in all, excellent value for money, and most likely where we will return to next time we are in the neighbourhood.”

“We were made very welcome by Wendy and Lawrence on our arrival. We sat outside in the sunny garden with a mug of tea and a caramel bar. We had the entire dining room to ourselves. There was a great selection of cereals available and the traditional breakfast was delicious. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious. ”

“Having arrived late and leaving early. I have to say the staff were welcoming and helpful upon arrival. A few little things to note. Breakfast doesn't start until 8am, not helpful if your need to start your day any earlier. Staying in room five (stables area). I found the room a little dated (older TV) but the plumbing noise from every time my neighbours washed their hands was very evident. It settled down once everyone went to bed for the evening. “This is a little gem in the heart of the beautiful Herefordshire countryside. Simon and Vanessa are fantastic people who care about their clients as do their charming staff. Food is freshly prepared and is very good. Will definitely be staying again”

“Lovely old pub in beautiful location, excellent breakfast, with home made preserves. The dinner menu looked very exciting but sadly we were dining elsewhere. Staff most helpful, carrying luggage and providing information. There is an onsite brewery! The night was extremely hot, so difficult to sleep, but very comfortable bed and well equipped room. The bathroom could have done with refurbishment to the tiling and taps, but was acceptable. There is a large parking area, by the river garden.”
