Chalets en Blackawton

“The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good spa facilities which were clean. The room was well set out and clean, although it felt a little tired! Breakfast was good, all fresh and scrambled and poached eggs cooked to order. All in all a good stay.”

“Wonderful location would certainly return.”

“The room was very comfortable, the staff were excellent. We loved the ambience and the food There was nothing we disliked except the proximity of the village church which insisted on striking every quarter hour day and night. It was an unusually warm night in October so we had the window open so I would advise using earplugs if the window is open.”

“Stayed here as an entry point to the South West Coastal path so whilst the town itself only has a pub and a post office, it was perfect for a 1 night stay before starting a long walk. There's also a local bus which goes a few times a day. Big room, very clean and comfortable, great breakfast included. Lovely stay.”

“The hotel is only about a year old so the building and all the fittings and furniture are in as-new condition. The staff were all cheerful and a delight to work with. The food was good both breakfast and the evening meals. The location right on the foreshore is attractive with lovely views of the sunrise but it is well away from the centre of Torquay. “Room and bed comfortable, walk in shower, table top ironing board and iron were very useful prior to a family wedding. Green table cafe on site is really good. Also The White Hart provided hotel breakfasts. Staircases were a little fusty with an odd air freshener to compensate. Its an old listed building so to be expected but might smell fresher if the stair carpets were steam cleaned and better air fresheners. Beautfiul location. Lovely Japanese meditation garden next to the bagel cafe, was...

“La ropa de cama no estaba buenas condiciones y había mucho ruido en los pasillos en la noche”

“Hotel muy bonito con buenas instalaciones y excelente comida y desayuno”

“Very nice room. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. My only criticism would be the indoor pool which is looking a bit tired”

“El acceso a la habitación imposible, sin ascensor y difícil, la cama pequeña, la habitación pequeña, y el baño ínfimo, difícil de moverse una sola persona. En sábado por la noche, cerraron cocina y no nos ofrecieron nada para cenar...”

“all food was good. cream tea was excellent. staff were lovely. we will be back.”

“Beautiful hotel. Very attentive staff throughout or staff.”

“Nice bed and breakfast with great views from our harbour view room. Staff helpful and friendly and very dog friendly. Lovely breakfast and handy being able to book a parking space. Great location to Brixham with their lovely pub down the road and plenty of nice places to eat too. Definitely recommend.”
