I had the most wonderful opportunity to stay at this fantastic hotel from August 28 to August 30 for a 2 night staycation. I am a long time Los Angeles resident who really needed a mental health break after a very tough 2026 year. It was on my bucket list to stay at this hotel so thought it was time to treat myself! From the fantastic hotel design, to the wonderful food and amenities such as very cool gym and pool, Intercontinental gave me the healing I needed. But most of all, the staff is truly best in class which distguishes this hotel from others. Deep gratitude to Maria who was emphathetic to my requests over the phone, Jordan who honored my late check out with such graciousness and most of all, Meghan who treated me with such kindness and generosity at check in. I have stayed at many hotels and Intercontinental is truly a world class one!!

We stayed at this hotel for one night, and unfortunately, it was a very bad experience\. There was a major fight in the room next to ours that lasted throughout the night until around 7:00 AM\. Despite the situation continuing for hours, none of the reception staff appeared to intervene, contact security, or call the police\. We did not sleep for a single minute and did not feel safe throughout the entire night until we checked out\. Also, the actual room looked very different from the pictures shown on the hotel’s website\. My booking was for a room with a **partial ocean view**, but in reality, there was no ocean view\. The receptionist was also not helpful when we raised our concerns\. At checkout, we were charged a parking fee\. I acknowledge that the parking charge was mentioned in the check\-in document, so I understand that I should have read it carefully\. However, I was not informed verbally that parking was paid\. In my experience, most hotels clearly inform guests about parking fees in advance and provide a parking permit or label to prevent guests from receiving a ticket\. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay\. The lack of response to the disturbance next door was especially concerning, and we left the hotel feeling exhausted and unsafe\. I would not stay here again\.

I stayed in a beachfront room. It is literally right on the boardwalk. What a fabulous view! The location is excellent for walking around Venice Beach, Abbot Kinney Blvd, and the canals! It was comfortable and quiet. Highly recommend!
