“There wasn't a kitchen as advertised, but rather a microwave. There were pans but no stove to cook on. I bought the ingredients to make a stir fry thinking there were cooking facilities but I had to microwave them instead. The actual apartment was nice, to give it credit, but this is about the only positive experience. The host gave check in instructions but then communication was non-existent. “The whole process of being able to stay there was awful. I had emails asking me to verify my identity but no correct link sent. I was threatened with a cancellation without refund desite the fact they had not given me the opportunity to do what they asked. Having finally been sent a link I verified and arrived to be told this was very common. At the property Fire Doors were constantly janmed open.”

“Where to start, it was cheaper than most places in Newcastle but still wasn't worth what we paid. No air-conditioning, the kitchen drain smelled terrible, the toilet leaked, there were toenails in the bathroom, originally put in a two bedded room when there was 3 of us, very hot stuffy room, unable to open window properly as there was a chain lock preventing us. Beds were clean and fairly comfy.”
