“We stayed in one of the family rooms overlooking the park. The rooms were comfy, clean and well maintained. The staff were all very friendly. Our room looked onto the park, with views of the animals which the kids were delighted about. We had breakfast included. There was plenty of choice, albeit the quality of the food wasn't the best. That said, there was lots of space, and helpful staff. The hotel was perfectly situated for us. Overall a great stay.”

“We paid a premium price for a very standard room. Double bed with hard pillows. Very dated in the decor and furnishings. I was disappointed with the whole experience. Set menu for the evening was very pricy and was underwhelming. Breakfast was what saved the day, nice ingredients, great selection. Staff were friendly.”

“Family room - the room, beds and shower room all clean. Plenty of pillows with the option of firm and soft, duvet is a little small for the bed and the one on the sofa bed was also too small if 2 sharing, so you may need to request extra ones. Aircon is fab for the summer kept the room lovely and cool. Sofa bed is a tight squeeze for 2 children but bed has plenty room for 2 adults. Communal areas very clean and spacious although the dining area can get a little busy during the breakfast. As for...

“Not ideal to stop and rest with children or young ones as place i dirty with bad odour from carpets. Also was noise from pub garden as we tried to rest/sleep. There was a fan on the side bed which was not wiped or cleaned. Shower was so stiff to turn off. I asked a member of staff to help and off he went back telling us he would bring wd40 till we checked out there was nothing resolved.”
