“I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. I booked 2 nights and I only stayed one. Firstly the staff had a little bit of an attitude whilst we were checking in which we didn’t mind anyways. But once we started making way to our room we started to sense urine smells on the stairs and hallways on the way to our room. “Had a really spacious and comfortable room. Couldn't fault it for the money, great value. Are dinner at the restaurant and it was good too. Easy check in and out with friendly staff.”

“The room opens directly onto the carpark, which was great as it made it easy to unload/load the car, also we could keep the door open so cool down the room (it was hot when we stayed). The staff were friendly and helpfully. Each nigh we were asked to prebook our breakfast, stating what time we wanted it, the following morning the breakfast was waiting for us perfectly cooked.”

“I liked the edge of town centre location, everything was walkable, the staff were very helpful and friendly The parking was good, but expensive at £11.25 per 24 hours I have stayed in many Holiday Inn Expresses's and the one thing that let this one down was the breakfast, when compared to elsewhere, the breakfast buffet itself was in a very cramped alcove and the selection wasn't that great.”

All was going well and the receptionist said that we were lucky as our room was air conditioned, while others were not.
