“The Globe Inn is a classic, old english pub. It is welcoming, as are the owner and the staff. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and have everything that you would need for a stay. It is also conveniently located for access to the coast, and local attractions such as Burgh Island and Salcombe.”

“Hotel does need some maintenance doing, our room had some damp in a patch in corner. flakey paint on wall in bathroom. At breakfast there was a bulb going in the main light which was flashing all the time we were having breakfast. Fire exit handle was broken in restaurant and fire extinguisher needs looking at. Food at breakfast was very nice 👍”

“We had a lovely three day stay at the Plantation House Hotel. Our suite was spacious very clean. Bar. Lots of choices of beer wine and spirits and nibbles before dinner. Dining. The menu was absolutely first class cooked and presented to a very high standard, absolutely loved the lamb. Breakfast. Again lots of choice with yoghurt, porridge, cereals and then of course there is different options for your cooked breakfast. Every member staff were absolutely fantastic and so helpful, an asset...
