“A truly wonderful hidden gem on the French countryside not too far away from Calais. The hosts have created a unique experience in their old farm house with a beautiful large garden even with their own hedge maze in the back garden. Pet friendly, cozy place, comfortable bed in a well equipped room with brick walls and nice decorations both in and outside. Breakfast is served in the conservatory in the main house. Chickens and ducks walk freely around. We loved it!”

“Perfect start to our our holiday in France. Minutes away from the Shuttle and the amenities in Calais. After driving down from Manchester it was the perfect place to spend the night prior to driving down to the South of France. The breakfast is a fantastic start to the day, fresh croissants, pain au chocolate, baguette, cheese and cold meat as well as fruit juice, yoghurt and cakes (Madeleins). Beds very comfortable for a good night's sleep. ”

“Aux Charmes was our stopover the night before crossing from Calais on our way home to Scotland. We have stayed in several locations whilst making our road trips and Boulogne Sur Mer has become our preferred place to enjoy a last evening on the Mainland! Aux Charmes has been a great find. It is in a quiet Cul De Sac, yet a very short drive to Boulogne, and equally the A16 motorway. Even I, as a Scotsman did not mind the fact that we had to pay a toll before the free section to Calais.
