“Selected Wheatsheaf based on location travelling from Scotland to South Coast. We're told at reception that the room was up 2 flight of stairs but it would be worth it, Walking into room 12 our breath was taken away, it was definitely worth the climb. Dinner that evening and breakfast next morning we're excellent. Will definitely be back. Jim and Lorna”

“El desayuno es el típico inglés. Poco más a destacar. La carne, en la Brasserie, demasiado hecha, aunque las pidas poco hecha. El Fish & Chips sí se les da bien. Muy buen gym. La piscina interior no llegué a probarla, pero muy buena pinta. Habitaciones correctas. Si te duchas en hora punta salen 4 gotas… a las 6 sale con presión. Eso sí, solo por visitar la parte antigua, merece hospedarse allá.”

“The room was clean and reasonably priced. Sadly I didn’t sleep well as the mattress wasn’t very comfortable - small for a double, and it felt like we were rolling together . Hong had kindly given us a room at the back of the house as I mentioned I am a light sleeper, but because it wasn’t the property I was expecting to stay in, it meant it was near to the main road which was quite noisy through most of the night on and off. “We only had an overnight stop here, but it was a great place to stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room and general public areas of the property were all fine. We had an evening meal and a full breakfast and they were both very tasty. Having an EV charger (22kW) in the car park was a really useful bonus as we left our car to charge overnight. Would definitely stay here again.”
