Vacations Close To Bergen Place Park

The first thing that hit me was the scent of pine sole when I entered the room. I had purchased ice cream to enjoy and the smell overpowered the taste of ice cream. There’s no shampoo or conditioner in the shower. The towels were stained. The floor was sticky. No WiFi signal even though I was pretty close to the front office. The TV remote had no batteries in it (which front desk replaced). But the real kicker was that my door latch was nearly coming out of the door and barely holding on by a thread of screws that looked like someone tried to kick in the door. The front desk said they couldn’t fix it until the following day. I said I didn’t feel safe without a proper door lock, but they just apologized. I requested a refund for the remainder of my days and moved out in the morning. I’m never going to stay in a motel 6 again. It brought back trauma of staying in them in my teens and twenties when I didn’t have money. But now I do and it’s worth the extra $50 to stay at a regular hotel. Even in a beautiful and safe area like Issaquah, right off I-90, I felt like it was a pocket of the Twilight Zone.

The hotel staff was amazing and very helpful arranging transportation, and for general information.

The Belltown was a perfect one night stay before our cruise. The rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything you could want to go see is within short walking distance. We enjoyed walking down to the water and over the Space Needle. They have a shuttle that will take you to the cruise terminal for a very reasonable fee.

Everybody was very friendly here. Location is perfectly situated in downtown area. The restaurant Bistro Adler inside was exceptional.

Historical hotel…that was enjoyable…staff were Attentive and courteous…valet parking…or parking garage next to hotel very easy…few minutes walk to the market and restaurants….

The hotel was great, I loved the decor and vibe. We had never stayed in that area of Seattle before though, probably won’t stay there again because of that. BUT if you like the University district, then you should definitely stay there.

Room is in a fabulous location. Likely can’t ask for better. Perfect size for 2. Communication is great. Listing doesn’t mention NO AC. I don’t ever think to look for that. To me AC is assumed. Wrong. Luckily it wasn’t very hot. So we didn’t have any issues. There was an oscillating fan. Lastly. The shower head doesn’t tilt down so I had difficulty with it since I’m short. All that being said, I’d book them again if I needed this location.

I haven't been to Tacoma in quite a few years. The downtown was very, very clean. Did not see homeless. My wife and I walked about 15 minutes to 7 Seas brewing and it was fantastic. No issues walking there. Parking was very safe right next to the hotel. Walked down to the marina over the walking bridge, got some great pics. A great time.
