Loved the bird watching

We enjoyed the visit. The hiking on the property was lovely and I enjoyed the community meals while watching the birds. Our cabin was small and rustic, but was pretty clean.

You are surrounded by the jungle The only thing I didn't like was it was to close to the highway so you could hear the trucks

Not quite the experience we planned

This is an eco-lodging/ foundation. We elected to stay here because they run environmental programming in the local forest/ jungle. We had a 9 y.o. With us. However, we came during low season and staff was on vacation. So, no programs. The cabin was very nice but we were 5 so we, the couple, were planning to sleep in the back room. However, we brushed off critters and debris from the bed. It turned out the back room was not well sealed. In order to have a peaceful sleep, we ended up moving the mattress to the living room and slept there. The potential while staying here is good. Very lovely area. We just hit it wrong. Nice breakfast service at the restaurant.

TREES is a wonderful stopover as a good jumpoff point if you're new to Belize or if not, then one can still make cool connections here. It's a place that is hip where usually something exciting is happening. Whether it's a nighttime excursion or just a movie night. Their buffet on request is spectacular & they love to jam as a band for those music ears in the audience or those who want to let loose. They do have small snacks for sale that they sell at the market too! There is definitely a family vibe here with tons of animals to see and the land is fenced in for your pet which makes it super safe and peaceful.
